The beautiful San Diego mission was the very first built in a group of 21 missions founded by Father Junipero Serra. The mission church here is still in operation as a place of worship plus there are taped tours available at the visitor center. The mission was first at Presidio Hill near Old Town San Diego and moved to it’s current site in 1774.
Hours are 9-4:30 Daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
